Carver Experience is based in Waihi, the gateway to the Coromandel

We have a number of options available, depending on your budget. All are as a passenger with driver provided. Bring your own cd if there is something you would like to listen to.

We can do a short 30 minute ride so you get the feel of the Carver, which is a 30 minute ride on some good twisty roads. Only available from where the Carver is at the time, ie not a special order. Mainly available from our Waihi base. Three hour ride as a passenger. Based in Waihi we specialize in tours of the amazing Coromandel. We can also come & pick you up. Pick up charges are additional. See below. Full eight hour ride, taking in Waihi, Whangamata, Whitianga, Coromandel and Thames. Just over 300kms in total on the best roads with stunning scenery for Carvering in North Island. There will be plenty of photo opportunities.

Pick up is only available with 3 hour and 8 hour experiences or wth groups of 4 or more for the 20 minute experience. Pick up from Hamilton / Tauranga: $65.00 Auckland / Rotorua $90.00

All prices are in NZ $ and inclusive of GST at 12.5%. We operate seven days a week, so weekends are no problem. We just want you to enjoy the trip and trust me, once you’ve been in the Carver, everything else will seem so average!!
